Bredele box

$16.50

This year we wish to honour the land we come from and its centuries old Christmas baking tradition.
The shape of the cookies represent the traditional folk Alsatian costume of the man and the woman.

The illustration on the box is from Jean-Jacques Waltz, also known as “Oncle Hansi” originally from Colmar.

This recipe has been passed down through my family since the 19th century.
I am originated from Wissembourg, a small town in the north of Alsace closed to the German border.
This explains the name Bredele which translate to “petits gateaux” or “little cakes”
